Establishment: The Dental Department was initially set up in 2075 B.S. in a small room.
Relocations: The department was later moved to the New building. Since Shrawan 2080. it has been operating in its current location.

The department provides a comprehensive range of dental services, including:

Regular Dental Checkups: Routine dental examinations.
Oral Prophylaxis: Services include scaling and polishing of teeth.
Tooth Extractions: Removal of unrestorable and mobile teeth.
Tooth Restorations: Treatment for decayed teeth using materials like amalgam, composite, and GIC fillings.
Cosmetic Dental Therapy: Procedures such as closure of midline diastema, teeth bleaching, and gap closure.
Endodontic Therapy: Includes root canal treatment, pulpectomy, pulpotomy, apexification, and apicoectomy.
Oral and Maxillofacial Prosthesis: Provision of prosthetics like removable partial dentures (RPD), complete dentures (CD), fixed partial dentures (FPD), and other prostheses like ocular and ear prostheses.
Periodontal Surgery: Includes procedures like flap surgery for the treatment of gum and bone diseases.
Surgical Extraction of Impacted Teeth: Removal of wisdom teeth and other impacted teeth.
Minor and Major Surgical Procedures: Surgical management of conditions affecting the oral and maxillofacial regions.
Trauma Management: Treatment for fractures of the mandible, maxilla, and facial bones.
